Shipping Rates

All rates are billed per pound per package.

All rates are subject to change without notice.

All rates are billed in USD, and converted at the daily BOJ rate. 

Package weight is rounded upwards to the nearest pound.
 

CUSTOMS TAXES AND DUTIES

Packages with items exceeding USD$50 in CIF value (shipping and taxes included) are subject to a Jamaica Customs Agency Administrative Fee of JMD$2,500 AND the applicable Duties, Fees and Taxes.

Packages with a quantity of 8 or more of an item are deemed as "Commercial" shipments and may be subject to additional Duties regardless of the package's CIF value.

Delivery fees are charged based on the location.

Each additional LB is billed at USD$2.50 (JMD$387.50)

REPACKAGING

Televisions are subject to a mandatory repackaging fee of USD$30.

Repackaging of other fragile items are available upon request, please contact us with details.

STORAGE

Storage is extended to the User for up to 7 days, at no additional cost. If the package is still in our custody after 7 days, storage fees of $50 per package per day will be applied. This fee cannot be waived and there are no exceptions.

SHIPPING

 

RECEIVING PACKAGES

Packages are delivered to the warehouse in a batch. This means that there is no opportunity for us to refuse the delivery of any single package. 

Packages are not opened upon delivery. This means that fragile items are shipped at your own risk, and it is the User's responsibility to notify us of any repackaging needs. 

If a package is delivered to the address by mistake, the package can only be removed from the shipment if the User sends a prompt removal request at least 24 hours before the shipment is closed off for departure. The User is responsible for making arrangements for the package to be sent back to the Vendor or elsewhere.

We do not conduct Returns and therefore, if a package arrives at the Florida warehouse or Jamaica with damages or defects then the User is responsible for resolving by requesting a replacement from the Vendor. 

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

 

All  packages that are delivered to the warehouse between Fridays 12pm - Wednesdays 11:59am are expected to be ready for collection in Jamaica on Saturdays.

All  packages that are delivered to the warehouse between Wednesdays 12pm - Fridays 11:59am are expected to be ready for collection in Jamaica on Wednesdays.

SHIPPING NOTIFICATIONS

Packages are expected to be confirmed by our Warehouse team within 1 business day of delivery. If 1 business day has passed and the package is still not confirmed then it means that the shipping label is missing some important details that's hindering the package from being assigned to your account.

The notifications that you can expect throughout the shipping process are:

Delivered - Florida, USA Warehouse 
Your package has been confirmed and your expected pickup date is set.

 

Invoice Required - Florida, USA
If you didn't create a pre-alert then we'll remind you that the invoice is required. 

 

Landed in Jamaica - NMIA, Kingston

Flights are expected to land on Monday and Thursday evenings. Flight delays are common during periods of inclement weather and high volume (peak season).
 

Customs Clearance - NMIA, Kingston

Shipments are expected to be cleared on Fridays and Tuesdays. The process can take 1 day normally, but up to 3 days during peak seasons (all major holidays). 

 

Billing in Process

 

Ready for Collection - Shop #11, 8 Hillview Ave, Kingston

Shipments are expected to be ready for collection on Saturday mornings and Wednesday mornings.
 

COLLECTIONS

 

STORAGE & DISPOSAL

Packages are normally ready for collection on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Should be the package be delayed, details of the delay are communicated via the User Account and email.

 

Storage is extended to the User for up to 7 days, at no additional cost. If the package is still in our custody after 7 days, storage fees of $50 per package per day will be applied. This fee cannot be waived and there are no exceptions.

Storage is extended to the User for up to 30 days. If the package is still in our custody after 30 days from the "Ready For Collection" date, then the User forfeits all rights to the collection of the package and it will no longer be available for pickup at our office.

DETENTION

Your package will not complete the Customs Clearance process if you fail to submit an authentic invoice before Customs Processing begins, OR if the item(s) inside the package is restricted or requires a permit from a Government body. 

The package would be detained by Jamaica Customs Agency until the authentic invoice is submitted for processing, or the applicable permit is provided, respectively.
